Squad trailer: Rinzing Denzongpa tries to save a six-year-old girl from various great powers

Along with the actor, director Nilesh Zaheeda Sahay also makes his debut in the Zee5 movie.

Rinzing Denzongpa in Squad

Out-and-out action films generally have a wafer-thin plot as the focus is more on fights and stunts. But first-time filmmaker Nilesh Zaheeda Sahay’s Squad has an interesting basic storyline.

The film apparently revolves around a six-year-old girl who is literally on the radar of the armies of various countries because she possesses the blueprints of a lethal cyborg programme prepared by his grandfather, a renowned scientist.

India hands over the responsibility of protecting the girl to a special task force (STF) commando Bhim Rana, played by Rinzing Denzongpa, the son of veteran actor Danny Denzongpa.

Strangely, the trailer of Squad doesn’t make the story clear. You get to know the plot only after reading the description under the video on YouTube. We wonder why they would do such a thing as that would have made the trailer more interesting.

The fight and stunt sequences are decently captured. Rinzing does have a screen presence but he seems to be lacking energy when it comes to hand-to-hand combat scenes.

Sahay has another action film in the offering, Ambush, which stars Harsvardhan Rane.

Also starring Malvika Raaj and Pooja Batra, Squad will be released on 12 November on Zee5.

Check out the trailer and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
