Radhe title track: Sajid's upbeat anthem heralds Salman Khan's arrival

With its high-tempo beats, catchy 'tapori' slang, and a hook that lands perfectly, the song caters to Khan's core audience.

Sajid has delivered yet again with an upbeat anthem that reflects the swagger of Salman Khan, the leading man of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The composer credited his late brother, Wajid, who died earlier this year following COVID complications, as his co-composer.

Sajid's timbre is a good fit for Khan's character and the vocals have an element of nonchalance that suits the composition.

Visually, the song is replete with guns, style and swagger. With Khan toting arms and literally pulling boomboxes out of toxic waste, quite a few metaphors are subtly sewn into the visual narrative of the song. Also seen is Disha Patani, to imbue an element of glamour, or perhaps, compensate for the limited dancing abilities of Salman Khan.

The thumping title track by Sajid-Wajid doesn't overwhelm the viewer, and as far as compositions go, the track holds its own among the duo's better works. With its high-tempo beats, catchy 'tapori' slang and a hook that lands perfectly, the song caters to Khan's core audience. From the beginning, Sajid sets the bar quite high and keeps the beat on a loop. With simple lyrics that focus on Radhe's attitude, the song is catchy. Considering Khan's sizeable demographic, the tune just might end up topping the charts.

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is directed by Prabhu Deva, and is set to release on Zee Plex on 13 May.
