Sukhwinder Singh, Gulzar collaborate on theme song of POGO comedy show Lambu-G Tingu-G

After numerous collaborations on many super hit songs, legendary lyricist, poet and filmmaker Gulzar and singer Sukhwinder Singh are working together again for the theme song of POGO’s new comedy show Lambu-G Tingu-G. The peppy theme song has been composed by Simaab Sen who has worked as a music producer on several Hindi films.

Speaking about his recording experience, Singh said, "I enjoyed recording the title song of Lambu-G Tingu-G especially with the unique lyrics by Gulzar Saab. Suhas, the show's director, has come up with a complete entertainment package and I wish all the best for the show.”

Sen has also previously worked with Gulzar for POGO’s animated comedy show Titoo – Har Jawaab Ka Sawaal Hu and the Nickelodeon animated series Pinaki & Happy – The Bhoot Bandhus.

Speaking about his experience of working with two stalwarts, the composer said, “The Lambu-G Tingu-G title track is unique and fun, aptly describing the characters. Gulzar Saab has created the catchiest lyrics and it was delightful to create funky beats to go with them. And of course, Sukhwinder’s voice has brought alive the vivacity of it. I’m excited to treat young fans to this tune, and hope that it receives much love from everyone.”

The show premiered on Pogo on 3 May.
