Sherni teaser: Like a tigress, Vidya Balan's forest officer character knows her way through the jungle

The makers of the Vidya Balan-starrer Sherni have dropped the teaser of the film.

The short clip begins when a voice-over where Vidya's character talks about the bravery of the tigress. which she equates with herself. The actress intones, "No matter how dense the jungle...the tigress knows her way.

The actress seems to be playing the role of an upright forest officer who strives for balance in a world of man-animal conflict. Vijay Raaz, Neeraj Kabi, Ila Arun, Sharat Saxena, Brijendra Kala and others also star in the film.

Produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment, the Amazon Original Movie is directed by the award-winning filmmaker Amit Masurkar known for the critically-acclaimed film Newton (2017).

Sherni’s full trailer will be released on 2 June. The film is set to be premiered on Amazon Prime Video in the month of June, but there is no release date yet.
