FIPRESCI is an association of professional film critics and journalists from across 50 nations in the world. The association's India chapter is currently headed by VK Joseph, president; Premendra Mazumdar, secretary; and GP Ramachandran, treasurer.
Speaking to Cinestaan, Arun said, "The continuing accolades from audiences, festivals and critics only validate the gentle power of Dilip Kumar’s short story and the collaborative spirit of our amazing crew and cast who stood shoulder to shoulder to bring Nasir to life. Five companies from different parts of India and one from the Netherlands produced this film with steady support that helped us stay on course the past four years. Now we all hope to find a good home for the film to make it accessible for all as we strongly feel this narrative can resonate across borders and cultures."
The film won the NETPAC award at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2020 before being part of the JIO MAMI Film Festival's line-up.
