Didn't actually kiss Disha Patani, says Salman Khan

In Prabhu Deva’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Salman Khan, who plays the titular role, is seen pitted against a villain played by Randeep Hooda and his army of baddies. In a recently released behind-the-scenes video, Khan said his character would be up against “huge and violent” forces.

So, it’s obvious that the film is loaded with action. “The action is on a very large scale. It is very stylized. It was very difficult to carry out this action,” said Khan in the video. 

Radhe sees Disha Patani cast opposite Khan. Speaking about the romantic aspect of the film, he said, “I believe if a man can do such action, he can even do romance. It has a nice and humorous type of romance. Disha Patani has done a fabulous job. She looks very beautiful.” 

Taking a light dig at the age difference between Patani and himself, he said, “We both look the same age. No, she doesn’t look my age. I look her age.” 

The trailer of Radhe also made heads turn as it featured an uncharacteristic kissing scene, which came as a surprise since the actor avoids locking lips on the silver screen. In the making-of video, he clarified that it wasn’t an actual kissing scene as Patani’s mouth was taped shut. “It is on a tape,” he said. 

Radhe will be released in theatres and on OTT platforms on Eid on 13 May. The film is also hitting the theatres in the UAE. In fact, the advance booking has already started over there, as revealed by Khan in a tweet yesterday.
