Sandeepa Dhar recalls her moment with Salman Khan as she grooves to ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ in Chattis Aur Maina

Actress Sandeepa Dhar can be seen recreating the hit dance number ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ from Dabangg (2010) in her web-series Chattis Aur Maina. She believes this is an interesting coincidence since she was a part of Dabangg 2 (2012), the second film in the franchise and the second project of her career. 

Recalling the shoot of the 2012 movie, Dhar said, “I am truly grateful for all the opportunities I have had through my career. One of my most memorable moments was working with Salman Khan. It was immensely surreal to share screen space with him in my very second film. Dabangg 2 holds a very special place in my heart as it was like a dream come true for me to work with such a thorough gentleman and everyone knows he such a really nice person.”

She added, “Now as I gear up for the release of Chattis Aur Maina, life has come to a full circle. I will be dancing to ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ from Salman Khan’s Dabangg.”

The show sees Dhar play Maina while actor Vikram Singh Chauhan will play Chattis. The actress can be seen performing various dance forms in each episode. 

Directed by Shardha Pasi Jairath, Chattis Aur Maina is currently being streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
