Singer Shreya Ghoshal and husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyay were blessed with a baby boy today.
Ghoshal shares the news on her official Instagram page. “God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon," she wrote. "It’s an emotion never felt before. Shiladitya and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy.”
Ghoshal had revealed news of her pregnancy on 4 March. Sharing a picture of her baby bump, she had written, “Baby Shreyaditya is on its way! Shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”
Mukhopadhyay had shared the post and written, “Cannot wait to cherish this bundle of excitement coming up in our lives and a whole new experience to share with Shreya Ghoshal.”
On the work front, Ghoshal sang four songs for the recently released Hindi film Saina (2021), Amole Gupte’s biopic of India’s badminton star Saina Nehwal. She has also sung for the upcoming historical film The Battle Of Bhima Koregaon.
