Actor-politician Vijayakanth was admitted to the MIOT hospital in Chennai in the wee hours yesterday after complaining of breathing trouble. He is stable but has been placed in the intensive care unit as a precautionary measure.
The DMDK founder president, also known as Captain, has been keeping away from the limelight of late owing to health problems. The Hindu newspaper quoted sources from the hospital as saying he had tested negative for COVID-19 and was stable.
