The Family Man 2 trailer: Manoj Bajpayee is caught between family and war in exciting new season

The trailer for the second season of the web-series, which also features Samantha Akkineni, has arrived after a delay of three months.

The first trailer for the second season of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's The Family Man has finally arrived. This season also marks the digital debut of Southern star Samantha Akkineni, who is a part of the cast with Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi and Priyamani. The show is set to be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 4 June.

The trailer for the much-delayed Season 2 begins with Srikant Tiwari (Bajpayee) far away from his RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) work. While he seems to have taken up a new corporate job in an attempt to keep the family together, it is clearly not working out.

Srikant's wit, sarcasm and, occasionally, explosive anger add to the humour of the situation. With his family life imploding, Srikant turns to his old friends and work to return to peace. This brings him to Chennai, where a new threat Raji (Samantha) seems to be leading the charge.

The trailer suggests another successful season with its mix of humour, drama and action. Bajpayee seems to be carrying on from where he left off in the first season with his dry wit intact. Samantha looks promising as the angel of vengeance, bringing in the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) angle to a complex story. Hashmi reprises his role of the friendly JK who is Srikant's companion at arms. Priyamani, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Dalip Tahil also reprise their roles in the new season.

The Family Man (Season 2) has been helmed by Raj & DK with Suparn S Verma. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you are keen to catch the new season.
