Planet Marathi OTT to premiere June starring Siddharth Menon, Nehha Pendse

The Siddharth Menon- and Nehha Pendse-starrer June (2021) is set to have its digital premiere on Planet Marathi OTT.

Helmed by first-time filmmakers Suhrud Godbole and Vaibhav Khisti, June will be the first film to be premiered on this exclusively Marathi platform.

June, which had its world premiere at the prestigious 51st International Film Festival of India earlier this year, was also selected for the International Film Festival of Kerala, the Pune International Film Festival and the New York Film Festival.

The film marks director Nikhil Mahajan's foray into production.

Speaking about the film, Planet Marathi OTT's chairman and managing director Akshay Bardapurkar said, "We are glad to announce June's world premiere on Planet Marathi OTT. June was shot in Aurangabad and I was also born in that city. June explores the layers of human emotions. I'm confident that the audience will also love to watch Neha and Neel's story."

Along with Menon, who plays Neel, and Pendse (Neha), June stars Kiran Karmarkar, Resham Srivardhan and Nilesh Divekar. The film's music has been composed by popular singer Shalmali Kholgade who is making her debut as a music director.
