The announcement was made on the festival's social media pages. The festival will open with a screening of Prithvi Konanur's Pinki Elli? and conclude with the exhibition of Ajitpal Singh's debut feature Fire In The Mountains.
The festival will feature 58 films, including features, documentaries, and full feature films in 15 Indian languages.
Pinki Elli? is among three Kannada films in the lineup. The other two are Ganesh Hegde's Neeli Hakki and Abhilash Sherry's Koli Taal.
Well, it was a long and tough journey. I think I can make a film on how we made Koli Taal 😅

Suman Mukhopadhyay's Nazarband is another film that has made the cut, and is also in the running for the Best Director, Best Actor (Tanmay Dhanania) and Best Actress (Indira Tiwari) prize.
Nazarband is playing at the @nyindianff and is nominated in 3 categories- Best Director for @suman_66, Best Actress for @Indiraaaa369 and Best Actor for... me 😃. This is my first acting nomination since Thespo 2008 so getting all the feels! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/XeUyOR1Oxr

In addition, the organizers of the festival will also screen a number of documentary features including Shut Up Sona (2020), as well as Utpalendu Chakraborty's documentary The Music of Satyajit Ray (1984). The latter is a special addition on account of the legendary filmmaker's birth centenary.
Ramesh Sharma's documentary Ahimsa Gandhi: The Power Of The Restless, is a similar addition to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Utpal Borpujari's Assamese short film, Xogun, will also feature at the festival. Based on the short story by writer-journalist Manoj Kumar Goswami, the short film offers a scathing take on journalism today.
One sliver of a good news amidst the despair all around. Thanks @nyindianff for selecting #Xogun. @chhabs @HazorikaSanjeev @dhananjaygoalp1 @BKalakendra @AnuraagPsychaea @Amritcanaries @ManojKrGoswamiG https://t.co/bZL8F7d2Jd
