Switchh trailer: Vikrant Massey is decent but the film looks dated

Vikrant Massey has become known as a quality performer in the last few years. But there was a time when he, like many other artistes, was a struggler. It is during this period, around six years ago, that he did an action thriller titled Switchh. The film is now being released on 21 March as an Eros Now original.

It is difficult to make out the story of the film based on its trailer, which has just been released. It seems Massey’s character and his friends are into car racing and con jobs. They decide to rob rich orphan Ruhina Malik (Tanvi Vyas) of a million dollars.

As you might expect, the operation doesn’t go as per plan and Massey and his friends land in a pickle.

The visuals of Switchh are the same we have been witnessing in numerous heist films. The trailer doesn’t have a flow and you are required to watch it more than once to get the hang of it. There are a few instances that appear questionable, like owners of a retail store dumping their weekly collections in an ‘ultra-secure’ vault in a mansion!

Massey appears to have put in a decent performance. But there is nothing much to write about the other artistes.
