The thriller comedy was initially scheduled to be released on 29 January, but production was put on hold after the rise of the pandemic and ensuing lockdown.
The new teaser features the two lead characters, Savi and Sathya, played by Pannu and Bhasin. The film revolves around a heist gone wrong. Both character stills were released in February.
Looop Lapeta was written by Vinay Chhawal and Ketan Pedgaonkar and is being produced by Ellipsis Entertainment and Sony Pictures India. The film also marks the directorial debut of Bhatia, who previously helmed the Amazon Prime Original series Inside Edge.
Pannu is currently shooting with Anurag Kashyap for Do Baaraa, while Bhasin also has the much-awaited '83 lined up for release this year.
