Actor Rana Daggubati, who is gearing up for the release of the upcoming trilingual film Haathi Mere Saathi, is likely to make a cameo in the Venkatesh Daggubati film Drushyam 2, which was launched officially in Hyderabad recently.
Neither the makers nor Rana has confirmed the news. However, the actor didn’t deny the reports when asked about them recently in a media interaction.
While Drushyam (2014), the Telugu remake of Jeethu Joseph's Malayalam hit Drishyam (2013), was directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Sripriya, Jeethu will be joining hands with Venkatesh for the first time for the sequel. This will mark Jeethu’s Telugu debut.
Meanwhile, Venkatesh has just completed shooting his portion for the upcoming Telugu romantic comedy F3, a sequel to the highly successful F2.
Venkatesh is also awaiting the release of his upcoming film Naarappa, a remake of Dhanush’s Asuran (2019).
Drishyam 2, which premiered on Amazon Prime recently, received glowing reviews.
