Saif Ali Khan's Tanhaji co-star Dhairyashil Gholap is set to make his television debut in the soap opera Bawara Dil, which will be aired on Colors.
The actor will an antagonist, Sarkar, in the show. Speaking about his role, Gholap said, "I have always been attracted towards negative characters because you get to show many shades of human behaviour. These roles also test your ability as an actor. I have witnessed how Saif Ali Khan sir portrayed Uday Bhan. I observed how he gets into character and I'm sure it will help me when I will play the role of Sarkar."
He added, “I always craved playing a negative character on screen and fortunately I got a break in Bawara Dil where I play Sarkar and I am grateful to my Producers Nikhil Sheth and Kalyani Pathare for giving me this golden opportunity."
Gholap made his Hindi cinema debut in the historical film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) in which he played one of the Maratha soldiers.
