Fahadh Faasil injured on the sets of Malayan Kunju 

The actor was required to jump from a certain height as part of an action sequence. However, he lost his balance and fell flat on his face.

Actor Fahadh Faasil recently injured himself after falling down while performing a stunt for his upcoming Malayalam film Malayan Kunju.

As per a report in The Indian Express newspaper, Fahadh was immediately rushed to the hospital and was discharged after receiving treatment. He has been advised bed rest for a few days. 

The report stated that the actor was required to jump from a certain height as part of an action sequence. During the process, he lost his balance and fell flat on his face. 

Malayan Kunju is being directed by newcomer Sajimon Prabhakaran. Filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, who has penned the screenplay, is also handling the cinematography, and editing the film with Arju Benn. 

The film marks the fourth collaboration between Fahadh and Mahesh after Take Off (2017), C U Soon (2020) and the upcoming political thriller Maalik.

It was recently announced that Maalik would be released in cinemas on May 13. Tipped to be a crime drama, its story unfolds over two weeks. The film stars Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan and Divya Prabha. 

C U Soon had its premiere on Amazon Prime a few months ago. The film was conceptualized, shot and released during the pandemic.

Fahadh is likely to be seen next playing the antagonist in Kamal Haasan’s upcoming action-thriller Vikram, which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
