Amruta Khanvilkar and Pushkar Jog's upcoming Marathi film Well Done Baby will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from 9 April.
The trailer for the film, which was released today, shows Khanvilkar and Jog playing a married couple who are constantly at loggerheads.
Jog is fed up with the obsession of his mother-in-law (Vandana Gupte) with vlogging and his wife always takes her mother's side. Soon, things escalate to the brink of divorce, but an unexpected pregnancy halts their plan and complicates their lives further.
The three-minute trailer leaves nothing to the imagination and gives away almost all the major plot points. On some occasions, the dubbing is not perfectly synchronized with the scene. Sometimes the pitch of the voice doesn't match the expressions. This lapse is probably because the film's dubbing was done during the lockdown.
Well Done Baby is only the second Marathi film to have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video after Picasso (2021). Well Done Baby has been directed by first-time director Priyanka Tanwar and produced by Jog, Anand Pandit and Mohaan Nadaar.
