Sunny Deol’s second son Rajveer to make debut in Sooraj Barjatya’s son's film


The makers have said that the project, which is expected to go on floors in July, is a coming-of-age love story.

After Karan Deol, Sunny Deol’s second son, Rajveer, is set to make his acting debut. He has bagged an upcoming film by Rajshri Productions. Interestingly, the film will mark the directorial debut of Sooraj Barjatya’s son Avnish Barjatya. The makers have said that the film is a wholesome family entertainer. 

After studying theatre in the United Kingdom, Rajveer worked as an assistant director before deciding to take the plunge into acting. He has also trained under the thespian Feroz Abbas Khan. 

Speaking about his leading man, Avnish said in a statement, “Rajveer speaks with his eyes. He has a silent charisma and is tremendously hard-working. The more time we spent talking about the project, the more I began to see Rajveer as the protagonist in my film.” 

According to a statement from the makers, the film is a coming-of-age love story. "Avnish and Rajveer are doing a film very close to their own lives and which deals with the concept of love and relationships in today’s world (sic),” the statement read.

The hunt is on for a leading lady. The film is expected to go on the floors in July and is slated to be released in 2022.
