The Bandra Film Festival (BFF) will be showcasing The Last Color (2020) and the unreleased film Patang on Holi on 29 March on account of their themes. The films can be watched online on BFF’s official YouTube channel.

The Last Color was the directorial debut of celebrated chef Vikas Khanna. The film stars Neena Gupta and child artiste Aqsa Siddiqui. The film, set in Varanasi, is about a little girl, a flower seller and tightrope walker, adding colour to the life of a widow, played by Gupta.

Directed by Prashant Bhargava, Patang is one of the earliest films of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. What's more, he played the lead in the film. The story is set in the old city of Ahmedabad and revolves around a family duel with the festival of kites playing a role in it. The film also stars Seema Biswas, Sugandh Garg and Mukkund Shukla.

Speaking about the films, festival programmer Sugandha Makhijani said, “Patang and The Last Color have a silver lining of light and hope. It has been an incredible journey right from the very beginning to showcase beautiful films like these on BFF's platform. Nawazuddin’s Patang and Neena Gupta’s The Last Color have truly left an indelible mark on me and it feels wonderful to have the films showcased on BFF. While it has been humbling to witness the love and appreciation so far for our films, we hope to receive the same appreciation for these as well.”

Actor Abhay Deol is one of the members of the festival’s advisory board.
