The news comes just a couple of days after the Rana Daggubati-starrer Haathi Mere Saathi, the Hindi version of Aranya (Telugu) and Kaadan (Tamil), and the Punjabi movie Puaada were postponed for the same reason.
Last week, Ram Gopal Varma postponed the release of his underworld action film D Company in view of the second wave of the pandemic.
Bunty Aur Babli 2 is the sequel to the 2005 hit Bunty Aur Babli, which starred Abhishek Bachchan and Mukerji.
While the first movie was helmed by Shaad Ali, Bunty Aur Babli 2 is directed by Varun V Sharma.
