Garima Yagnik to make her feature film debut alongside Manoj Bajpayee in Silence: Can You Hear It?

Singer Garima Yagnik will make her feature film debut alongside Manoj Bajpayee in the murder mystery film Silence: Can You Hear It?

The singer-actress is playing a character named Kia who arrives from Canada at the time of the mysterious death of her friend.

Talking about the film, Yagnik said, “This film is definitely special for me and very close to my heart because this is my debut feature film and I'm a huge fan of the 'whodunnit' genre. I am blessed to start my film journey with a stellar cast like this."

Yagnik was also excited to share screen space with Bajpayee. "I was definitely excited to work with one of the greatest actors of our time. I have always admired him and his versatility, but I was surprised to see him so humble, patient and supportive on the set.”

The film, helmed by the first-time director Aban Bharucha Deohans, also stars Prachi Desai, Arjun Mathur, and Barkha Singh.

Yagnik, who has worked in web-series such as Thoda Adjust Please and Shocker, has been acting since childhood. She started her acting career with theatre, performing in musicals such as Wizcraft’s Balle Balle. 

Silence: Can You Hear It? is slated to be released on Zee5 on 26 March.
