The first look of Neha Dhupia from Behzad Khambata's upcoming film, A Thursday, has been revealed. Produced by RSVP Movies, the action thriller will also star Yami Gautam.
The film went on the floors earlier this week and it is expected to have a direct-to-digital release. The new still sees Dhupia, as ACP Alvarez, posing in front of a standard Mumbai police vehicle.
Announced in September 2020, the film will revolve around a high school teacher, played by Gautam, who takes some schoolchildren hostage. ACP Alvarez is tasked with de-escalating the situation. Earlier in the week, both actresses shared pictures from their first day on Khambata's set.
Khambata made his directorial debut with Blank (2019), featuring Karan Kapadia. At the announcement of A Thursday, producer Ronnie Screwvala had said, “This is one of those thrillers that not only has you on the edge of your seat but also makes you question many aspects of society. Seeing Yami in a grey avatar will be interesting for the audience.”
A Thursday is produced by RSVP Movies and Premnath Rajagopalan of Blue Monkey Films.
