The trailer for Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s upcoming film Flyover promises a complex and gripping thriller that is unlike any of the director’s previous films.

Koel Mallick stars as the protagonist Bidisha, a journalist who gets embroiled in a murder case while pursuing a story on traffic violators.

As the trailer progresses, it becomes apparent that Bidisha is in way over her head.

Also featuring Santilal Mukherjee, Gaurav Chakrabarty and Ravi Shaw, the film sees Bidisha turn into a murder suspect herself. While a police officer (Mukherjee) doubts her innocence and presses her to confess to her "crime", Bidisha continuously receives threats and risks her life to uncover the truth.

Throughout the trailer, Mallick seems to be alone in her quest. In a sequence, Chakrabarty, who also plays a police inspector, tells Bidisha she has to discover some answers for herself as no one is going to be by her side. At different points of the trailer, the actress can be seen battling a host of emotions and, in one sequence, she even appears to attempt suicide.

The trailer comes across as refreshing as it doesn't reveal much. Flyover is slated to be released in theatres on 2 April. Check out the trailer below and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
