The second song from Saina, the upcoming Saina Nehwal biopic, is a track that celebrates the budding romance between Nehwal (Parineeti Chopra) and her badminton partner Parupali Kashyap (Eshan Naqvi).
The tune, composed by Armaan Malik, is a predictable number and the video sees the couple drop subtle hints on every possible occasion without expressing their love for each other overtly.
Although the song serves its purpose, the lack of novelty makes it a forgettable affair. It's the kind of song you will forget in a few days. Amaal Mallik, who provides the vocals, does a decent job at expressing Kashyap's infatuation towards Saina. The lyrics, by Kunaal Vermaa, are not exceptional.
Overall, 'Main Hoon Na Tere Saath' is a serviceable love song that lacks novelty.
