Amazon Prime Video recently ran into trouble with the government over its web-series, Tandav (2021). The Union government then introduced new rules to ensure monitoring and self-regulation of content on OTT platforms. There are several cases pending against the makers of the web-series and the streaming platform.
Shooting for Ram Setu, directed by Abhishek Sharma, is expected to begin this month. The film is slated for release in theatres before being moving on to Amazon Prime Video.
