Indrasis Acharya, Shieladitya Moulik and Arjunn Dutta are gearing up for their upcoming food anthology film titled Three Course Meal.

Produced by KEFI Media and Entertainment, the Hindi-language film will also feature artistes from the Hindi film industry.

The makers are yet to announce the cast of the dark fantasy thriller which promises to take the audience into a culinary adventure.

Acharya, known for his thought-provoking dramas Bilu Rakkhosh (2017), Pupa (2018) and Parcel (2020), is excited about his first project for a national platform.

The filmmaker, who has been eager to work with the subject and form for long, said, “It's completely different in all aspects from my previous works. Privileged to embark on this ambitious journey on food and darkness for national audiences. It will be another exciting journey working with two of my fellow contemporary talented directors. Thanks to my producers for having trust in me.”

“Every person has a hidden dark side; we artistes do too," said Moulik, who felt 'heavy' after finishing the screenplay and got similar feedback from the producers after they went through the script. "Probably my story in Three Course Meal is the darkest I could conceptualize. But it’s challenging to do something in this genre. I’m planning to surprise the audience not only with the content but also with the execution."

The maker of Sweater (2019) and several short films thanked KEFI Media "for supporting me with a crazy idea like this" and said he was "super excited to collaborate with ace directors like Arjunn and Indrasis-da”.

Dutta, on the other hand, is hoping for a change in how the audience views cinema with Three Course Meal as he feels such a project has not been attempted before. “Nationally, I will be doing someting experimental for the very first time," said the maker of Abyakto (2020) and Guldasta (2020). "Food and dark combined is a novelty. I am really excited and nervous at the same time. My track is a layered one with an unusual twist.”
