The showrunners of The Family Man, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK — commonly known as Raj and DK, have rubbished a report, which stated that the second season of the Amazon Prime Video series has been cancelled because of the government's decision to regulate content on over-the-top (OTT) platforms.

The report came as a shock to fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next season, which was supposed to be streamed from February before its release date was postponed

Raj and DK, on Monday, reacted to the news by simply tweeting “BS”, which stands for ‘bullshit’.

A source closely involved with the show also debunked the report. “The Family Man 2 has not been shelved. It will be out this summer. However, the date has not been decided yet,” the source told Cinestaan.

The first season of the show was well received. The story revolves around secret agent Shrikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee), whose life-threatening exploits are unknown to this wife (Priyamani) and two kids. The series features Sharib Hashmi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Darshan Kumar and Sharad Kelkar.
