Planet Marathi Filmfare Awards: Anandi Gopal wins 10 trophies, including Best Film


Raj Gupta's Baba also received a fair share of awards while Mukta Barve was adjudged Best Actor (Female) for Smile Please.

Sameer Vidwans’ Anandi Gopal bagged 10 trophies at the Planet Marathi Filmfare Awards, which took place on Sunday evening.

Anandi Gopal was adjudged Best Film while Vidwans was declared Best Director. The Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) Award was given to Deepak Dobriyal for his portrayal of a mute character in Baba (2019). The film also received the Critics Award for Best Film. 

Mukta Barve won the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for Vikram Phadnis’ Smile Please (2019)

While Lalit Prabhakar grabbed the Critics Award for Best Actor, the Critics Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) was shared between Sonalee Kulkarni for Hirkani (2019) and Bhagyashree Milind for Anandi Gopal. 

The Best Actor in Supporting Roles (Male and Female) Awards were given to Shashank Shende for Kaagar (2019) and Neena Kulkarni for Mogra Phulaalaa (2019) respectively. 

Shubhankar Tawde, who won the Best Debut (Male) for his performance in Kaagar, was elated. "To get the black lady of Filmfare is a proud and dreamy feeling. It is a dream for every actor who enters the field. I am very happy to see my dream come true today,” he said in a statement.
