Mukta Barve and actor Umesh Kamat are set to work together after eight years.
The artistes will be seen together in Sony Marathi's new serial Ajunhi Barsaat Ahe where they will play the lead roles. The actors had shared screen space eight years ago in Ajay Naik's romantic drama Lagna Pahave Karun (2013).
The promo of the serial was released on social media on Tuesday, and it appears that they are playing long-lost lovers.

Barve is known for her roles in films such as Jogwa (2009), the Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai trilogy, Double Seat (2015) and Aamhi Doghi (2018).
Kamat, who is seen as one of the most bankable actors in the Marathi film industry, has appeared in films such as Time Please (2013), A Paying Ghost (2015) and Ye Re Ye Re Paisa (2018).
Barve will be seen in the Marathi movie Aata Bass (2021) while Kamat is waiting for the release of his biographical film Tath Kana (2021) where he will be seen playing the role of world-renowned neuro-spinal surgeon and writer Dr Premanand Ramani.
