Haseen Dillruba teaser: Deception, obsession eat away at love triangle

Barely a minute long, the teaser of Vinil Mathew’s Haseen Dillruba only introduces us to the setting and key players of its story, which the makers promise will contain lust, obsession and deceit.

Tapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey play a married couple whose lives are upended by the arrival of a stranger played by Harshvardhan Rane in this gripping thriller. Pannu’s character, Rani, a beautician, longs to live in the world of the crime novels, and then quite suddenly she’s in one, with the murder of her husband.

The short teaser showcases how trying to bring some excitement in their lives just about pushes them over the edge when things get violent.

The screenplay of Haseen Dillruba has been written by Kanika Dhillon. The film has been edited by Shweta Venkat Mathew and features music by Amit Trivedi.

Haseen Dillruba has been co-produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions. It is due to be released on Netflix on 2 July.
