Actor Aparshakti Khurana and his wife Aakriti Ahuja are expecting their first child together. The couple took to their social media accounts late Thursday night to make the happy announcement with a funny post.
Aparshakti, younger brother of popular actor Ayushmann Khurrana, made the announcement on Instagram. In the post, Aakriti is seen flaunting her baby bump in the monochromatic picture while Aparshakti kisses it.
The caption read, 'Lockdown mei kaam toh expand ho nahi paya, humne socha family hi expand kar lete hain [Couldn't expand work in the lockdown, so we decided to expand our family].'
Sunil Grover, Neena Gupta, Swara Bhasker, Sanya Malhotra, Huma Qureshi, Mrunal Thakur, Varun Sharma and other celebs congratulated the couple in the comments.
Like Ayushmann, Aparshakti began his career as a radio jockey and television host. He rose to fame with his role in the biographical sports drama Dangal (2016).
The actor later played supporting roles in several hit films such as Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), Stree (2018), Luka Chuppi (2019) and Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019).
