Singer Shreya Ghoshal has revealed the name of her firstborn child, a boy, with his first photo on an Instagram post.
She introduced the new member of her family as Devyaan Mukhopadhyaya with an adorable photo of her holding her son with husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya.
The couple was blessed with Devyaan on 22 May.
Overwhelmed with joy, the singer wrote, “Introducing — ‘Devyaan Mukhopadhyaya’! He arrived on 22nd May and changed our lives forever. In that first glimpse as he was born, he filled our hearts with a kind of love only a mother and a father can feel for their child. Pure uncontrollable overwhelming love. It is still feeling like a dream. Shiladitya and I are so grateful for this beautiful gift of life!”
On 4 March, Ghoshal had shared news of her pregnancy, with a photograph of her baby bump.
On 22 May, as she broke the news of her son's birth, she also expressed her joy at starting a new chapter in her life with another Instagram post: “God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon. It’s an emotion never felt before. Shiladitya and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy.”
