Golondaaj, Ekannoborti, Kakababur Protyaborton, Mukhosh and X=Prem get theatrial release dates

SVF Entertainment on Monday announced the theatrical release dates of the upcoming films Birsa Dasgupta’s Mukhosh, Dhrubo Banerjee’s Golondaaj, Mainak Bhaumik’s Ekannoborti and Srijit Mukherji’s Kakababur Protyaborton and X=Prem.

The dates were revealed on social media via a teaser that featured the film's posters.

Previously titled Psycho, Dasgupta’s crime thriller Mukhosh starring Anirban Bhattacharya and Anirban Chakrabarti, will be released on 13 August.

The highly anticipated sports period drama Golondaaj, starring Dev Adhikari as Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari, the father of Indian football, will arrive in theatres on 10 October.

Bhaumik’s upcoming women-centric family drama starring Aparajita Adhya, Alokananda Roy and Sauraseni Maitra will be out on 3 November.

Mukherji’s Kakababur Protyaborton, which is based on Sunil Ganguly’s novel Jongoler Modhye Ek Hotel was initially slated to be released on 24 December last year. SVF has announced that it will be out in theatres on the same date this year. Kakababur Protyaborton stars Prosenjit Chatterjee while Aryann Bhowmick and Chakrabarti will also be seen as major characters in the film.

The filmmaker will start shooting for his upcoming romantic drama X=Prem on 2 July.  Starring Arjun Chakraborty, Madhurima Basak, Shruti Das and Anindya Sengupta, the project will arrive in theatres on 4 February 2022.
