Haseen Dillruba song 'Phisal Jaa Tu': Taapsee Pannu, Harshvardhan Rane fall in love in video of Amit Trivedi's wonderful tune

Sung by Abhijeet Srivastava, the foot-tapping composition by Amit Trivedi features lyrics by Kshitij Patwardhan.

The soundtrack of the quirkily titled Haseen Dillruba continues to entice. The latest song from the film, 'Phisal Jaa Tu', captures the blossoming romance between Taapsee Pannu and Harshvardhan Rane's characters, which adds fuel to an already volatile mix.

While Pannu is married to the sober, quiet Vikrant Massey in the film, her character develops an attraction to the more macho Rane and the attraction between the two is palpable.

Amit Trivedi, as usual, has delivered another enjoyable song that is fun and refreshing. Sung by Abhijeet Srivastava, the composition captures the sense of impending doom, the excitement of danger and the mischief of romance. The lyrics by Kshitij Patwardhan fit the composition, which begins with the keyboard and the guitar harmonizing before building into an up-tempo rhythm that is foot-tapping. The complexity of the composition does not take away from the harmony and the infectious rhythm. Srivastava's vocals are melodious and effortless.

Haseen Dilruba has been directed by Vinil Matthews and is set to be released on Netflix on 2 July.
