Haseen Dillruba song 'Dil Melt Karda': Upbeat tune expresses euphoria of young love

The first song from the murder mystery Haseen Dilruba is a romantic track about the newlywed Rishi (Vikrant Massey) and Rani (Taapsee Pannu) who are slowly getting to know each other. The video beautifully captures the first stage of their relationship and their journey from their first meeting to their marriage. They try various tactics from seduction to tattooing their name on their wrists to win over each other. 

The song is composed by Amit Trivedi and its upbeat tempo ensures that there is never a dull moment. The beat is familiar but this doesn't diminish the fun element. Nikhita Gandhi and Navraj Hans's impressive vocals elevate the song and the singers compliment each other well. Grover's lyrics beautifully express the euphoria and the confusion of a couple that is slowly getting to know each other.

Haseen Dilruba has been directed by Vinil Mathew. The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix on 2 July.
