Sushant Singh Rajput death anniversary: Rhea Chakraborty writes heartfelt note

Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend who faced a lot of heat from the actor's 'die-hard fans' and makes only rare appearances on social media since his death last year, has written a heartfelt note in his memory on his first anniversary.

Taking to Instagram, Chakraborty shared a picture of her smiling and Rajput grinning at her. Calling the late actor her guardian angel, her man and her love, she wrote, “There isn’t a moment where I believe that you aren’t here anymore. They said that time heals everything but you were my time and my everything. I know that you are my guardian angel now — watching me with your telescope from the moon and protecting me (sic)."

She continued, “I wait for you everyday to come pick me up, I look for you everywhere — I know you’re here with me (heart emoji). It breaks me everyday, then I think of you saying — ‘you’ve got this bebu’ and I carry on to the next day. A barrage of emotions crosses my body every time I think of you not being here. My heart aches to write this, my heart aches to feel anymore.

"There is no life without you, you took the meaning of it with you. This void cannot be filled. Without you, I’m standing still. My sweet sunshine boy, I promise to give you ‘Malpua‘ every day and read all the quantum physics books in this world — please come back to me (folded hands emoji) (sic).”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra, Mumbai, home on 14 June 2020. The actor was only 34. His death is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation while the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Enforcement Directorate are investigating the drugs and financial angles, respectively.

Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB in September last year and had to spend a month in jail. She was released on bail in October. She will be next seen in the mystery thriller film Chehre alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and Anu Kapoor.
