Sushant Singh Rajput death anniversary: Bhumi Pednekar remembers her Sonchiriya co-star


Tahir Raj Bhasin and Randeep Hooda also shared memories of the actor who died by suicide on 14 June 2020, sparking a wave of controversy.

On the first anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput's death, actress Bhumi Pednekar shared a moving tribute to her Sonchiriya (2019) co-star. Rajput's Chhichhore (2019) co-star, Tahir Raj Bhasin, also put out a tribute to the actor on social media.

Sharing an image of Rajput from the sets of Abhishek Chaubey's film, Pednekar wrote, "Miss you, your questions and everything we spoke about. Rajput died by suicide on 14 June 2020. His death sent shockwaves through the film industry and resulted in a year-long investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau, which is still going on.

Bhasin shared an image of himself with Rajput and wrote, "Remembering your insatiable curiosity & intelligence. Gone too soon. May you always remain interstellar."

Earlier this week, Kriti Sanon, who starred opposite Rajput in Raabta (2017), shared a behind-the-scenes compilation from the shoot and wrote, "Tan lade, tan muk jaaye, Rooh jude, judi reh jaaye... Randeep Hooda was another member from the film industry who shared his memory of the late actor.

Rajput's death is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation while the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau are investigating cases stemming from his death.
