Right before one of them is about to get married, three friends hit the road in an epic trip from Melbourne to Perth in Australia. The recent graduates of the University of Melbourne are joined by a hitch-hiker, Aakash.
Asha Negi is Bindiya, the driving force behind the trip, who gets her friends Megha (Manasi Moghe) and Dixit (Mrinal Dutt) to accompany her in the camper. The comrades bond and bicker as they travel across the vast landscape of the land down under with Aakash (Tushar Sharma) who is a stranger at first, but quickly becomes one of the gang.
Megha, who is about to be married, seems to harbour apprehensions about that life-changing decision. In fact, each character seems to arrive at a crossroads in their life on this trip.
The series seems instantly appealing, with its small cast of characters and scenic backdrop. The storyline also seems to indicate that the bonds of friendship will be tested before they come together again.
Directed by Tapasvi Mehta, Khwabon Ke Parindey is due to be streamed from 14 June on Voot.
