Filmmaker Gopichand Malineni, who is basking in the runaway success of his last Telugu release Krack, is all set to team up with actor Nandamuri Balakrishna for his next project, it was announced on Thursday on the occasion of the star’s 61st birthday.
The project will mark Gopichand and Balakrishna's first collaboration.
Gopichand took to Twitter to share the video and wish the actor on his birthday. He wrote, "Happy birthday to Balaiah babu garu...eagerly waiting to meet you on sets soon sir..to feel the roar in live. (sic)."

The project is expected to go on the floors later this year. To be produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will feature music by SS Thaman. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalised soon.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna currently awaits the release of the upcoming Telugu film Akhanda with director Boyapati Srinu. The movie stars Balakrishna in dual roles and is expected to hit the screens as soon theatres open in Telugu states.
Akhanda also stars Pragya Jaiswal. There are reports that the film also stars Shriya Saran and Anjali.
