Film City organizes Marathi screenwriting camp in association with NFDC

The last date for submission of feature-length scripts for this camp is 30 June.

The Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation Limited (MFSCDCL), also known as the Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari or Film City in Mumbai, has announced a Marathi screenwriting camp in association with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).

This is the second collaboration of the two organizations after their first screenwriting camp in 2013.

The camp is accepting scripts only for feature-length films and candidates need to send them in before 30 June.

Aspirants are required to submit their candidature online along with a synopsis of their script in 300 words and the first 50 pages in PDF format.

About 10 shortlisted candidates will undergo training in a classroom environment for 15 or 18 days spread over four months in an online format with eminent mentors from the Marathi film industry guiding them.

Film City and NFDC are also promising to help the selected candidates pitch their scripts to production houses. Click here for more details.
