Swara Bhasker and Gulshan Devaiah star in a short film, Dobara Alvida. Directed by Shashank Shekhar Singh, the short is backed by Large Short Films and will be streamed on its YouTube channel from 8 June.
The trailer sees the actor play a cab passenger. As the taxi gets stuck at one of the many interminable signals of Mumbai, Devaiah reminisces about a past love (Swara Bhasker) who appears beside him. The trailer hints at the conversation that this nostalgic trip revolves around.
Talking about the short film, the actress said, ''This movie is a celebration of all the emotions that we try to hide away when any relationship is over. Dobara Alvida is an exploration of what happens when one finds closure rather unexpectedly, taking them by surprise, and that is exactly where the beauty lies. In a day and age where contemporary relationships are ever so evolving, Dobara Alvida is one beautiful journey of discovering how there's more to what we lead on, and I am elated to have been a part of it.''
The actress will also be seen in another short film, Sheer Qorma, which is set to have its world premiere at the Frameline Film Festival.
The short film will be streamed on the Large Short Films' YouTube channel from 8 June.
