The new poster of Laxman Utekar's Mimi captures the many stages of a woman's pregnancy. Featuring Kriti Sanon as Mimi, the motion poster breezes through several weeks, illustrating the slow evolution of Mimi's experience and the struggle she faces.

The trailer of the film, which features Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa, will be released on 13 July.

While revealing the usual suspects of the Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and the crew, the motion poster also focuses on Mimi's support system. Tripathi and Tamhankar's worried couple take care of her. As the motion poster changes, Mimi's expression changes from one of excitement at 12 weeks to weariness at the end of 40 weeks, the third trimester of her pregnancy.

The film was expected to be released last year. However, the ongoing pandemic played spoilsport. The film is expected to be out this month.

Mimi is based on the 2011 Marathi film, Mala Aai Vhaychay. It has been produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
