Simran Jehani stars opposite Rohit Saraf in the segment Star Host from Netflix’s anthology series Feels Like Ishq. The series comprises six different stories themed on love.

A statement from the makers read, “Simran Jehani essays the role of Tara, who happens to stumble upon an enthusiastic and bubbly Aditya (Rohit Saraf). Star Host depicts their friendship and follows a series of unexpected events that brings them closer.”

Jehani said that she instantly connected with Saraf while working in the film. “Working with Rohit has been so much fun. I feel like we clicked so fast, like when we met on set, and even just in rehearsals, we clicked immediately.”

She added, “At first, I was a little nervous. But he's just a great person to work with and a lot of fun to make fun of because he gets hurt really easily. I’m kidding; he’s gonna hate me for saying that. It’s been really cool working with him. He's been pushing me as an actor and as a person. I've had the best time and I would not pick anyone else in the world.”

Apart from acting in a few short films, Jehani was seen in the Marathi movie Kaccha Limbu (2011) and the Hindi movie Khoobsurat (2014), starring Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan.

Feels Like Ishq will be streamed on the OTT platform from 23 July.
