Abhishek Dudhaiya’s upcoming film Bhuj: The Pride of India is slated to be released on 13 August on Disney+ Hotstar.
Featuring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharad Kelkar and Nora Fatehi, the revolves around an incident in the 1971 Indo-Pak war where the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) attacked the Bhuj airbase in Gujarat as part of Operation Chengiz Khan.
Disney+ Hotstar announced the release date by releasing the motion teaser of the film on Twitter on Tuesday.

In Dudhaiya’s film, Devgn plays a real-life figure, Indian Air Force squadron leader Vijay Karnik, who reconstructed the Bhuj airbase with the help of 300 local women from the village of Madhapar, when PAF raided the airfield 35 times in 14 days during the war. The teaser also indicates that the attack was carried out with 92 bombs and 22 rockets.
The war film will see Dutt play Ranchordas Pagi and Sinha as Sunderben Jetha.
Bhuj: The Pride of India was initially slated for a theatrical release on 14 August last year.
