Cartel poster: Supriya Pathak is matriarch of a crime family in this drama series

ALTBalaji has finally unveiled the first look of its crime drama web-show Cartel on its official social media handles. The first look features Supriya Pathak, Girija Godbole, Jitendra Joshi, Tanuj Virwani, Rithvik Dhanjani and Pranati Rai Prakash.

Pathak, who seems to be playing the matriarch of a crime family, is sitting in front on a throne-like chair with Godbole and Pranati on either side. In complete contrast to the well-groomed and immaculately dressed Dhanjani and Virwani, Joshi's attire hints that he is playing a goon or the black sheep of the family.

Apart from these artistes, the web-series stars Amey Wagh, Sanaya Pithawalla, Samir Soni, Divya Agarwal, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Monica Dogra. The makers have kept the details of the plot under wraps, but from the first look it seems the show will explore the feuds within the Angre crime family.

Cartel went on the floor in December 2018 and the shooting was completed earlier this year. The first season, which is directed by Suyash Vadhavkar, will have 14 episodes.
