Makers of KGF 2 unveil a special poster on the occasion of Sanjay Dutt’s birthday

The makers of KGF 2 today unveiled a special poster of Sanjay Dutt’s character from the movie on the occasion of the star’s birthday.

Sharing the poster on Twitter, Sanjay Dutt wrote that the long wait for the movie will be worth it. 

In KGF 2, Dutt will be seen playing a character called Adheera. Unveiling the poster, Hombale Films wrote: 'War is meant for progress, even the vultures will agree with me' — Adheera. Happy Birthday Sanjay Dutt.'

Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to share the poster. “Thank you so much everyone for all the warm birthday wishes. Working on KGF Chapter 2 has been amazing. I know you all have been waiting for the film’s release for a long time and I assure you that it’ll be worth the wait (sic),” he wrote.

KGF 2 marks the South debut of Sanjay Dutt. The film also features Raveena Tandon Thadani in a crucial role.

Last year, the makers revealed the first glimpse of Sanjay Dutt’s character from the film. The Khal Nayak (1993) star will be seen playing the primary antagonist.

Talking about the second part of the movie, KGF star Yash told the Hindustan Times newspaper: “When we made KGF: Chapter 1, we had our own inhibitions and restricted ourselves in some way. But with this kind of success on our side, we are going all out to make the second part. We now know people are keenly looking forward to the second part and we can deliver it without any reservations. We’ve reserved the best for Chapter 2.”

KGF: Chapter 2 will also be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
