Raashii Khanna, Atul Kulkarni join the cast of the Ajay Devgn-starrer show Rudra

Raashii Khanna and Atul Kulkarni have joined the cast of the Ajay Devgn-starrer web-series Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness.

Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, the Disney+ Hotstar show is the official Hindi adaptation of the British show Luther and stars Esha Deol Takhtani opposite Devgn.

Khanna told the news agency Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), “I am excited to be a part of Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness. It is rare to get something that pushes you out of your comfort zone and challenges you as an actor and Rudra just gave me that opportunity. I am elated. Looking forward to an amazing experience on set with talented actors like Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol and Atul Kulkarni.”

Kulkarni said, “Digital content is dynamic and has altered the art of storytelling. Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness is a gripping series that will disrupt the genre of cop dramas in India. With Rajesh Mapuskar helming the project, it will be exciting to work on this thriller. The series also comprises a stellar cast, and I can’t wait to begin filming this one.”

The show also features Ashish Vidyarthi and Ashwini Kalsekar in pivotal roles.

Much before Rudra, however, Devgn will be seen in the movie Bhuj: The Pride Of India, which will be streamed on the same OTT platform from 13 August.
