Nikhil Mahajan film Raavsaheb announced

Planet Marathi OTT has announced its next major production, Raavsaheb. The film, which will be directed by Nikhil Mahajan, is being backed by Nehha Pendse, Jitendra Joshi and Akshay Bardapurkar. 

The makers have revealed the first poster of the film, which depicts the visage of a tiger and the silhouettes of three people in the foreground. While the plot has not been revealed, the poster is dominated by the presence of animals and has jungle vibes. 

Incidentally, Pendse, Mahajan and Joshi were part of the platform's last major release, June. 

Raavsaheb has been written by Prajakt Deshmukh, Mahajan and Shripad Deshpande. The film is scheduled to be released in the winter of 2022. 

It is likely that the film will go on the floors this year. Joshi and Pendse are also expected to be part of the cast.

Raavsaheb is being backed by Jitendra Joshi Pictures and Radiant Productions, and presented by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar and Planet Marathi SS Pvt Ltd.
