Panga (2020) director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari set to turn author with Mapping Love

Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is set to make her debut as an author with her upcoming novel, Mapping Love.
Published by Rupa Publications, the novel will arrive in stores on 1 August. The filmmaker last directed the Kangana Ranaut feature Panga (2020).
The fictional work was initially scheduled to be launched on 21 May 2021, but that event had to be postponed in view of the extended lockdown in the national capital and the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The director said in a statement, "I am filled with unexplained emotions of stillness and nervousness, I discovered that I enjoyed the process of writing in solitude ever since I embarked upon this journey of writing my first ever novel."
She added, “Until now, this story was just mine, but now the time has come to share it with the world. I’ve written it with all my heart putting each word to paper visualizing a world. I can’t wait to see how my audience and readers react to Mapping Love."
